Tokens are like avh trading cards, you are allowed to get 1 token a day per account. Once you complete a collection you will receive a minimum reward of 1 million coins for collecting all the tokens. (Credits awarded for the first 3 to complete a collection.) Select the Tokens tab in the Town Hall. in the Select menu you can then click on Tokens to either collect a token, view your collections or send a token to another player.

When viewing a collection, the tokens that you have not collected are blurred. Some tokens are common, some uncommon and some rare. The background will tell you how rare it is.
