1. There is a new room at the AVH stable. The Stats room. You can see the top 15 stablehands and their stats.
2. In order to keep things cleaner the training requests that reach 0 points of a certain service disappear from the requests list.
Game offline on Aug 10th 13th of Maius, year 30
Due to some changes on the datacenter that is hosting the AVH server, the game may go offline for one hour or so on August 10th 2006.
Paulie has been banned 13th of Maius, year 30
The rules of this game apply to everyone, and complete lack of common sense gets people banned. Stupidity is not a quality, regardless of what some people may think, therefore Paulie will never be allowed to return.
This is a reminder to everyone who thinks they have a right to be on this game. You are all guests here, and the most important requirement is to behave as decent human beings. Though she is an adult, Paulie behaved as a spoiled 7 year old boy that got his toy taken from him, so she returned only to cause trouble.

Partners have been changed 2nd of Maius, year 30
1. You can have 2 partners now.
2. If you add someone as your partner, and that player accepts your request, you will also become that player's partner (and viceversa)


Note: The old partner records have been erased, so you will have to add your partner again.

Suggestions 17th of December, year 29
1. Stallions will no longer be available for stud anymore if they are not being properly fed and do not have the vet checks. So your stallion must be Level 5, Age 3, fed, have vet check, breeding check and shots.
2. New players will receive a small welcome gift. A set of standard tack, some horse feed and treats.
3. You can delete message folders at the post office. In order to be deleted, you must empty them first. Folders Inbox and Sent letters cannot be deleted.
4. Trainers can now change the name of their arena.
5. Trainers can decide if they do public training or not. This can be set in the stats page inside the arena.
6. When you are finding arenas, if you click on the arena name you will see a page showing information about the skills of that trainer. This way you can pick the best trainer for your needs.

Notes:
Crossbreeds will not be receiving more xp. They are regular horses and it is preferable that players do not create crossbreeds.
Sending packages 16th of December, year 29
In order to avoid people sending horses to players that have not been online for a very long time, the post office will no longer allow you to send packages to players that have not been online for more than 4 game months (4 real days)

Player&Horse bonus 1st of Iulius, year 29
Every game month players and horses will lose 10% of the bonus they have.
This means that in order to have the bonus at 100% you will need to pay a trainer to keep it there.

More people asked how the spec points work. When you go to your horse's page, you see the specialization bars. They show the speciality in %'s.
If you hold the mouse over one of those bars, it will tell you how many shows your horse actually entered.
The spec points that are added by the trainers can be seen there.
This means that when a trainer adds spec points to a horse the %'s are modified indirectly. Sometimes even if a trainer adds 20 shows, the % may still be the same, but the total number of shows entered is being modified.
Trainers 16th of Januarius, year 29
A new guild has been added to AVH.
Here are several things about the new guild. More will come later.
1. You must be at least level 10 to become a trainer.
2. Trainers do not have a workshop.
3. Trainers have 4 main skills.
SkillDescription
Removing skill pointsA trainer will be able to 'free' the horses' skill points. A removed skill point will become available for assigning back on a different discipline.
Adding specialization pointsTrainers can influence the horses' specialization, by adding points. Your horses will not enter shows, but their specialization will be increased on the trained discipline.
Training horsesTrained horses will have a bonus during the shows. If the bonus is at 100%, the horses are basically twice as good.
Training playersTrained players will also have a bonus during showing their horses. You can see the current values in your Home.

The trainer's arena is the place where a trainer works or practices the training skills.
Other players can find arenas and register their horses (or themselves) for the offered services.
Advancing your skills will be quite difficult so pe prepared for that.

There is a new button on top of your window. It is meant to help you do things that you did not know how to do.
Retired horses 18th of Martius, year 28
You can send your retired horses to the AVH Retirement Barn.
The retired horses have a button that allow you to send them away.
Note that if you send them away, you will not be able to get them back.
Horse Happiness again 18th of Martius, year 28
Your horse's results in shows depend on how happy your horse is.
In order to get the maximum results, your horse must be 100% happy.

How horses gain happiness points:
1. Fed horses receive 1 point every game month (unless they are for sale in your shop)
2. Giving them treats make them happier (how much it depends on the type of the treat)
3. Grooming also make them happier (again, depending on the type of the grooming they receive)
4. Horses fed by stablehands receive 1 point.
5. Mares gain 10 points when they foal.
6. A horse bought from the market receives 10 points.

How horses lose happiness points:
1. Starving horses lose 5 points every game month.
2. Horses have a 1 in 350 chance of losing 1 point when they enter shows. This means that on the long run, they lose 1 point on every 350 shows entered. Sometimes it's more, sometimes it's less.
3. A horse sold at the market will lose 20 points.
4. A horse sold to another player will lose 10 points.
5. Horses that are for sale in shops will lose 1 point every game month(unless they are properly fed)
6. A horse transferred from a player to another will lose 7 points.
Horse happiness, treats and grooming 3rd of Januarius, year 28
As most of you have seen, the horses have a happiness 'bar' that indicates how happy your horse is.
An unhappy horse will not perform too well in shows, so you would probably want your horses to be very happy.

Things that will make your horse happier:

1. Treats
Sugar => 1% happier, Cookies => 3%, Carrots => 5%, Apples => 7% and Grain => 10%
You can give your horse treats only once a month.

2. Feeding by stablehands
Since the stablehands are expert in feeding horses, the horses registered at the AVH Stable will be roughly 1% happier every game month.

The AVH Stable is also offering its expert services in treat preparations.
The offer comes with great discounts and you will actually pay less for these great services than you would pay if you bought the treats from the market.
For instance, you pay 1200 coins for one year of monthly carrot feeding.
If you bought carrots from the market every month, you would have to pay 2400 coins in total.

3. Grooming
You can schedule grooming for you horse in the AVH stable as well.
Basic Grooming => 3% happier, advanced grooming => 6%, expert grooming => 10%,
Registering your account 13th of Iulius, year 27
You will need to activate your account, if you have not done it yet.
This is to prevent random creation of accounts in AVH, so if your email is something like dshjdshdsjk@dskdjskj.com, you should change it to something valid and register it.
There is a Hint in the Town Hall explaining how to do that.
If you are unable to do it, a moderator will help you.
Anyway, bottom line is that only the registered accounts will be able to log on.

Your benefit is that all your players will receive 2000 coins daily.
AVH's benefit is that there will be less fake accounts, and evil players will not manage to create backup accounts as easily.
Polls added. 5th of Iunius, year 27
You can now participate in the AVH polls. Polls can be created and you can vote on existing ones. (Make sure that suggested polls make sense, are not repeats of already accepted polls and that the choices for selection also make sense.)

To get to the polls click on the 'Polls' button just above the guildline.
Change to creating clubs. 14th of Aprilis, year 27
Players must be level 15 or above to be able to submit clubs for creation.

Note: Also when creating clubs, please check that you are not creating a club that is basically the same as something that has already been accepted. Duplicate clubs will likely be rejected.
